Dear all,

I would like to second Motivations of Players with Disabilities in Digital Games<https://arxiv.org/ftp/arxiv/papers/1805/1805.11352.pdf> (Beeston, Power, Cairns, Barlet).

Otherwise, Playing Blind: Revealing the World of Gamers with Visual Impairment<https://dl.acm.org/citation.cfm?doid=3290605.3300346> (Andrade, Rogerson, Waycott, Baker, and Vetere) was recently recommended to me. Although I’ve not had a chance to read it yet.

Best Wishes,
Dafydd.

Yes please! A couple from me -

Designing Universally Accessible Games<https://www.ics.forth.gr/hci/files/selected_publications/2009_ACMCEM_DG-AS-CS.pdf> (Grammenos, Savidis, Stephanidis)
Characteristics and Motivations of Players with Disabilities in Digital Games<https://arxiv.org/ftp/arxiv/papers/1805/1805.11352.pdf> (Beeston, Power, Cairns, Barlet)
Game Accessibility – A Survey<https://www.cse.unr.edu/~fredh/papers/journal/29-gaas/paper.pdf> (Yuan, Folmer, Harris)

"Taking advantage of the topic, is there any place where we keep or list academic articles recommended by the group?"

That's the reason for asking, the SIG site is having a bit of a re-org at the moment, and there'll be a place there for some links to papers. However it's just a dozen or so as a quick intro to give people a way in to what's available without overwhelming. If anyone fancies maintaining something more extensive that would be awesome, that would be a great thing to be able link to. Especially if it's something that allows anyone to add to.

I don't know much about what kind of tools are available for that, would something like Mendeley do it? I think there used to be a cite-u-like page back in the day, but if there was it isn't around now.

Some of them are a little old, but help me to understand a lot of things about game accessibility.

I have some others that I like a lot too. I can share it if you want.

Taking advantage of the topic, is there any place where we keep or list academic articles recommended by the group?

Best Regards,
